Yes. Shine Disability Care is registered with the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission, which regulates all NDIS providers nationally. Our registration covers disability support services including personal care, community access, daily activities, and transport for Sunshine Coast participants. We provide NDIS support across the full Sunshine Coast region – from Noosa and Noosaville in the north, through Coolum Beach, Maroochydore, Mooloolaba, Alexandra Headland, Kawana Waters, Sippy Downs, Buderim, and Mountain Creek in the central area, to Caloundra, Pelican Waters, and Beerwah in the south. On the Sunshine Coast, Shine provides: personal care (showering, dressing, grooming), community access and participation (social outings, beach visits, hinterland activities, community events), transport to appointments and activities, household tasks (cleaning, laundry, meal preparation), daily personal activities, and skill development to build independence. All services are funded through your NDIS plan under Core Supports or Capacity Building budgets.

Yes, and we encourage it. We work alongside support coordinators across the Sunshine Coast and the wider Queensland network regularly. We understand what coordinators need from a provider – timely communication, progress notes, flexibility as plans evolve, and incident reporting where required. Your coordinator can introduce us by email or phone and we'll keep them updated as supports get underway. Yes. We can arrange evening and weekend support for Sunshine Coast participants subject to worker availability. Saturday, Sunday, and public holiday rates are higher than standard weekday rates, as set by the NDIS Pricing Arrangements and Price Limits. We will always confirm the applicable rate with you before scheduling any out-of-hours sessions so there are no surprises on your plan statement.
