Yes. Shine Disability Care is registered with the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission, which is the national body that regulates NDIS providers. Our registration covers disability support services including personal care, daily activities, community access, and transport. You can search "Shine Disability Care" on the official NDIS provider register at ndis.gov.au to confirm our registration status at any time.

We provide NDIS support across the full length of the Gold Coast – from Coomera and Pimpama in the north, through Southport, Labrador, Surfers Paradise, Broadbeach, Robina, and Varsity Lakes in the centre, to Burleigh Heads, Palm Beach, Coolangatta, and Tweed Heads in the south. On the Gold Coast, Shine provides: personal care (showering, dressing, grooming), community access and participation (attending events, social activities, appointments), transport, household tasks (cleaning, laundry, meal preparation), daily personal activities, and skill development to build independence. All services are delivered by experienced disability support workers and funded through your NDIS plan under Core Supports or Capacity Building budgets.

We'll ask about your NDIS goals, your current plan, and your preferred schedule. From there, we match you with a suitable Gold Coast support worker and complete a service agreement before any support begins. Most new participants start their first session within 5–7 business days of enquiring.

Yes, and we encourage it. We work alongside support coordinators regularly and understand what they need from a provider – timely communication, progress notes, incident reporting, and flexibility to adjust supports as plans change. We can be introduced via email or phone call, and we'll keep your coordinator updated as your supports get underway. If you don't currently have a support coordinator and need one, we can suggest local Gold Coast coordinators we've worked with.

Yes. We can arrange evening and weekend support subject to worker availability. Saturday, Sunday, and public holiday rates are higher than standard weekday rates, as set by the NDIS Pricing Arrangements and Price Limits – we will always tell you the applicable rate before scheduling any out-of-hours sessions so there are no surprises on your plan statement.
